We’re on the lookout for a new Treasurer to join the team at Wells Rugby Club and we’d love to find someone from within the club community.
This is a really important role, but don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it sounds! It’s all about keeping things ticking along behind the scenes and helping the club stay financially healthy.
What’s involved?

Managing the club’s day-to-day finances (money in and out)

Handling things like supplier payments and weekly bar takings

Keeping our records up to date using QuickBooks

Overseeing income from events, fundraising, and tours

Putting together simple profit & loss reports for the board

Running monthly payroll and HMRC submissions
It’s a great way to contribute to the club, meet more people, and play a key part in keeping Wells RFC thriving.
You don’t have to be a finance professional, just someone organised, reliable, and happy working with numbers. Support will be available, and there’s a good handover in place.
